Cara joined Skye Medical in December 2022 working as a nurse practitioner on Monday’s.

As a nurse practitioner, Cara is able to write prescriptions, send referrals and request diagnostic tests like blood tests and scans.
Cara qualified as a registered nurse in 2005 and since then has completed additional qualifications in sexual health and primary care as well as her Masters of Nurse Practitioner course.

Her area of specialist interest is sexual and reproductive health and Cara has worked in rural and metro areas with HIV patients, LGBTQIA+ communities and CALD communities.

Cara is passionate about empowering people regarding their own health and we’re proud to have her as part of the team.
