Dr Aoife O’Connell (pronounced Ee-fah) is an Irish GP who completed her medical training in the UK. She joins Skye Canning Vale and Armadale in September 2025.

Dr O’Connell completed her GP training in Bath, UK, which covered both urban and rural general practice. Prior to this, she spent time living and working in Perth across a range of hospital specialties, including emergency medicine, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynaecology, and internal medicine. She has now returned to Perth with her family and is delighted to be settling back into the local community.

Dr O’Connell has a special interest in women’s health, family planning, and chronic disease management.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, yoga, and going camping with her husband and son.
