Dr. Eimear Byrne initially completed a BA degree in Biochemistry with Immunology at Trinity College, Dublin. She then qualified from the University of Aberdeen Medical School in Scotland in 2013. Following this, she has worked in both the UK and Australia in many different hospital and primary care settings including the Emergency Department, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine and Paediatrics. She completed her General Practice training in Glasgow, Scotland and has recently relocated to Perth with her young family.

Dr. Byrne has a special interest in chronic disease management, sexual health and women’s health. She has also completed a diploma in Tropical Medicine with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

Dr. Byrne is a friendly, approachable GP whose commitment to continuity of care is at the forefront of her practice.

Outside of work, Dr. Byrne loves to run and is really enjoying exploring Perth’s beautiful running routes. She also loves spending time at the beach, travelling and exploring new places and cultures.
