Joining the clinic in January 2024, Dr Heylen will be working Monday, Wednesday and Friday’s at Skye Medical.

Starting her medical career as a nurse and midwife, Rebecca say that she gained insight into the various aspects of health, wellbeing and disease from day one.
She says that she draws on a range of skills accrued through her education and life experience which has broadened her understanding of the range of physical, social, emotional and spiritual factors affecting health and wellness.

Rebecca enjoys working collaboratively with patients and believes in the power of combining traditional, complementary & lifestyle medicine to achieve optimal health outcomes for her patients.

Her main interests lie in integrative medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and epigenetic medicine with her ultimate goal to empower patients to take charge of their own health.

Bec graduated from University of Notre Dame in 2018 and lives locally to the clinic with her husband, 4 children, 3 border collies, 2 cats and 1 goat.
